Summer has not yet arrived, yet fashion brands are never less than one season at least ahead of the weather, and with this in mind over the last month models have been strutting up and down catwalks around the world showing off the Fall/Winter collections at all the big Fashion Marques.
Ralph Lauren seems to be leading the pack in terms of style cues this season, never straying too far from the establishment/preppy style, they have gone all out country gent this year, with a look that one blogger described as "downton abbey", and they were not far wrong.
The collection actually looked more like dressing for the country and the cocktail party, one set of models sported tweed blazers, knee socks, plaid, heavy sweaters and varieties of felt hats, while another set wore elegant to the floor cocktail dresses and smart evening wear.
What was most surprising was the presented collections seemed to give a selection of three different options, as the images below show, one very traditional day wear for out of the city, one extremely glamorous evening wear, and one very sensible wearable clothes for modern day.
It will be some time before these are available to buy, but for now enjoy the Interweb buzz about this collection, and others as we report them over the coming weeks.
