25th Anniversary Chanel Camélia Flying Tourbillion Wrist Watch.

The Chanel Premiere watch has been around for 25 years now, a fact which few people know, and even fewer care to know, however, what people do care about is whats new and hot, and there Chanel have got us again, by releasing this strictly limited edition version of the Premiere to celebrate the birthday in the way only they can, by producing something ridiculously beautiful and expensive.

The original Premiere was modeled after the iconic No.5 Chanel Bottle, and the 127 Diamond Encrusted body of the Camelia Tourbillon shows this inspiration even better than the original, looking like a solid lump of crystal lying on the wrist.

What makes this watch stand out sharply amongst all equals, is the addition of a toubillon, not much of a surprise given the name, but incorporating a masterpiece of horology in such a tiny watch, and then having the design mastery to shape said tourbillon as a flower (hence the other part of the name 'camelia') plus a 40 hour power reserve, is a feat of mechanical genius.

Pricing is still unnown, Chanel very much wants to keep this item, which is limited to 20 pieces worldwide as a if-you-have-to-ask-you-can't-afford-it affair, however, using our experience in the world of haute joiallaire, and the Wrist Watch world in general, a piece of this sort would expect to have an asking price in the region of £250,000 or higher
