Loro Piana have decided to expand their Footwear collection with a new trainer shoe for casual wear. We say it's about time, their elegant Trainer shoe of 2008 has been discontinued now for over 2 years, something which we have complained bitterly about, as we and many other loyal LP fans adored the casual elegance of their trainer shoe in canvas and leather and suede and leather.
The new shoe takes its inspiration from running shoes, and has foregone the all in one invisible lace effect of the former for a classic lace up style. They feature a rubber sole, and Brick red insert on the Heel, and as an additional quirk, they come supplied with a second pair of laces in ecru, if you prefer to have a more dynamic style.
Comes in Beige Windmate Storm System and brown suede, or Deep navy denim with navy suede trim, the shoe is a definite hit in the Navy, and so-so in brown. Available now from Loro Piana's Webstore and Boutiques, the Brown costs £485, and the Navy £465.
