Chanel Spring/Summer 2013.

A little touch of summer to remind us of the warmer months we are leaving behind, we present Chanel's Spring/Summer 2013 catwalk collections.

The staging was as ever epic, taking over the entire Grand Palais in Paris, Chanel is rapidly becoming the fashion show of any particular event it graces, it certainly stole the show at the Paris Fashion week, vast wind turbines almost touched the ceiling of the Palais, while models walked down a Solar Panel griddled catwalk to an absolute capacity crowd.

Onto the clothes, rumored by some to be the reason for Fashion shows, first up the images below show an extreme Chanel shoulder bag, no doubt set to be an instant hit if it ever goes on sale, a massive hula hoop sized affair with a white leather Chanel embossed satchel in the center. 

Aside from the tantalising glimpses of the accessories to come, the collections themselves were a elegant combination of sportswear and evening wear, an electrifying selection of smart casual clothing which has in one fell swoop blown away critics of Lagerfelds 2012/2013 Winter collections, who were grumbling he had lost his touch and needed some fresh inspiration before losing the reigns, any criticisms this time?  Didn't think so.
