CataCoffin & CataTomb, Coffin With Sound System.

Your eyes do not deceive you, you are indeed looking at a luxury coffin, designed and developed by Swedish audio retailer Pause, the CataCoffin and its brother the Cata Tomb, are designed to give the recently departed a rest not necessarily as peaceful as the traditional pine box, with a 2.1 amplifier, the custom made coffin has the patented "CataCoffin" sound system, with a 2-way speaker and a 8 inch subwoofer.

Above ground the CataTomb Tombstone features a fully weatherproof 7" LCD display, with  a 2.5ghz processor powered computer, with 4G connectivity, allowing the playlists to be updated as required, additionally, the CataTomb monitor will show the current playlist.

Obviously this is all a little gruesome, however, we think it is nothing more than a publicity stunt, at £20,000 per custom made coffin, it is not the most expensive option for those wanting a luxury coffin, exotic wood coffin from well established funeral directors can cost two to three times as much.  As a small audio retailer, it is our belief they are attempting to garner attention by doing something shocking, oh dear, it worked, because here we are writing about it.
