Perrier Jouet is well known for its commitment to artist, its famously floral bottle design was designed by Emile Galle in 1902, and the brand has continued its association and connection with the art worl right through the 20th century and bang up to date in the 21st century, with a bottle redesign of the Belle Epoque Perrier Jouet by Makota Azuma just months ago. Now for Christmas 2012 Perrier Jouet continues to demonstrate that this 200 year old champagne house is bang up to date with yet another collaboration with a young hip artist, this time Claire Coles, young interior designer beloved by the horsey set, and made famous by her youthful arts and crafts influenced designs.
The collaboration has produced 3 bespoke designs representing both the individuality of the designer and the house style of Perrier jouet, the bottles themselves have remained the same, but Claire Coles input has produced one feminine embroidered bag for the Blason Rose in pink, one lively fresh coloured embroidered bag for the Grand Brut in green, and one delicately floral themed gift box for the Belle epoque containing the bottle and two specially designed champagne flutes.
There is also an extra gift box set for the Grand Brut, and all are available now, the gift box is priced at a premium of £150 each, and is limited to an unspecified number, and the bottles with gift bags are priced at a premium of £70 for Grand Brut, and £85 for Rose, all are available now.
