Loewe "Oro" Travel Drinks Bar Trunk.

The travel bar is one of those luxurious accessories which are really, quite useless, after all, where in the world might you go that will not have a well stocked bar?  Only a place where alcohol is probably illegal, which means possessing a travel bar full of alcohol is equally illegal, finally, if you are particularly keen on one spirit, simply taking a bottle of the stuff seems far more sensible than a travel bar, yet despite these facts, the travel bar continues to be as desirable today as when the only person who could possibly justify the ownership has a private yacht and plane, all of which have fully stocked bars, and who just wants something nice for the family picnic so his butler can mix a martini properly.

With this in mind we present the latest in a long and illustrious line of top end travel bars, the Loewe "Oro" travel bar and trunk case, scant information is available on this, but they seem to have named it after their classic "Oro" bag, have made it entirely from Bridle leather with suede lining, although this can be customised on request, and it has capacity for three bottles in a slide out drawer in the bottom, and a custom crystal decanter for the "best" sprit.

How much does all this luxury cost you ask?  A lot is the answer, but then travel bars have never been cheap, as most useless luxuries in general are never cheap, this particular offering starts from £14,000 and increases depending on the leather used outside and in.
