The latest collection from Louis Vuitton has apparently been positioned as part of the Monogram collection, however, with the exception of a splash of Monogram canvas, these pieces are far away from being conventional Monogram items ala' the Neverfull or Totally.

What we have here is a glorious (or appalling depending on your taste) mix of Monogram canvas, Ostrich leather, Lizard skin, grosgran leather and python skin, all combined to create something more than unusual for the house. The collection includes three ranges, a selection of two shoulder bags, two totes, and three wallets.

The shoulder bag, pictured top, will measure 3.9" x 7.8" x 13.3", and will be a Monogram canvas front piece, grosgrain leather sides in green or red, matching grosgrain leather key holder, ostrich leather bag flap, lined in goat leather, two outer pockets, and lizard leather shoulder strap, and shiny brass S-lock closure adorned with python leather, it will retail for £4000. The tote pictured above, will have the exact same construction as the shoulder bag, but with lizard leather handles instead of shoulder strap, and will be available in two sizes, PM measuring 5.9" x 9.8" x 17.7", and MM measuring 6.6" x 11.4" x 19.6", and will be priced at £5500 and £6000 respectively.

Finally we have the Majestueux wallet, measuring 1.1" x 4.3" x 7.4", it comes in three flavours, Monogram canvas and Ostrich being the base in all cases, with either green python, red python or lizard for the flap over, an S-Lock shiny brass closure and a touch of matching ostrich leather on the python skin wallets finishes the job, and on the inside, 9 credit card slots, 5 large bill pockets, and receipts, and an open back compartment for notes with a gusseted coin pouch with button closure. Each model costs £3000.
