New from Christian Louboutin comes a made to measure service, known as "tattoos to measure", the service was created by Louboutin after a friend asked him to create a custom design of his tattoos, this made the shoe designer realise that many people use tattoos as more than just decoration.
The service will be available for Men at first, on a new pair of Men only shoes called the Nigel, then it will be expanded to Womens shoes later. It is an entirely Bespoke service, where after a consultation in Louboutins studio, the hand embroidered pattern is created in India, and the shoe assembled in Italy.
Each shoe design will take 3 months to create, and prices have not been published, but it expected to be around £1000 per pair of shoes, which will increase depending on the complexity of the design.
