Prague based designer Kumeko has produced a charming new twist on the flexible and fun furniture piece, a market pretty much dominated by Ligne Roset at the top end, and FatBoy at the bottom. The "Snug", has a soft inner cushion, surrounded by a sleeve, which makes up a shell like support structure, this versatile piece can be pretty much anything you want, including even a chair if you get bored, as the designer said:
“Jersey tubes stuffed with polyurethane foam are woven into the 100% wool felt creating a 3D double-sided pattern. The wool felt retains the temperature inside the sleeve and makes the item durable, while the jersey tubes add soft padding.”
The product will be available by the middle of this year, and will cost around £1150.
