Persol "Reflex" Collection.

New from Persol comes a collection of eyewear inspired by the grand tradition of Italian Photography, unusually for Persol the collection includes three completely fresh designs, one eyewear, and two sunglasses, going for heavily stylised designs, and straying away considerably from the normally chunky retro fashions that typify Persol's frames.

The three styles are the optical (PO 3044V), and sunglasses models (PO 34465) and (PO 30475), all of which use new sdetails such as Ultra light and slim metal temples with the Persol supreme arrow engraved on the temples, and frames in acetate and metal, conveying a sense of vintage style.  All frames also use Persol's patented Meflecto system, and give Polarised and special Photo-Polar 1.8mm thin glass lenses, and give extra protection from the suns harmful rays.

The packaging is important in terms of transmitting the sense of the link with photography, with slim stylised leather packaging which reminds one of the 1960's slim reflex cameras, after which the collection is named.

The Persol Reflex collection will be available in all Persol retailers from  the end of March 2013, prices are to be announced, but are expected to be a slight premium over the normal Persol frame prices.
