New from Nespresso comes their latest limited edition coffee selection, which for a change takes a new route, by producing two coffees at the same time, and marketing and selling them as an experience, to be enjoyed together, rather than as individual products.
One is the Trieste, which has an intensity rating of 9, and blends Arabica beans from South America and East Africa, and has a round texture, with fragrant chocolate and hazelnut notes, this is a subtle coffe, which is recommended to be enjoyed as a Ristresso, of Expresso coffee, or as a gourmet base to a Cappucino.
The other is Napoli, which has a blistering Intensity rating of 11, is recommended solely as a ristresso, it is a blend of Arabicas and Robutsas from South America, East Africa and Asia, and features a smoky texture, with aromatic woodiness and is lightly scented with nuances of dry black leaf.
The most unusual thing about this is the way they are being sold, rather than a single capsule purchase, which can be purchased in multiples of 10, these are sold as a set of two, with 20 capsules being retailed for £7, which can cause some complication when ordering through Nespresso's online system, but shouldn't stop you from rushing over there if you want the chance to enjoy them, as they are sure to sell out soon.
