The A9 is one of Bang Olufsen's biggest successes recently, with its elegant single speaker design, and powerful loudspeaker set up, and with the amount of customisation options available via removable front grilles, it has been a huge hit, not least in part due to being able to be controlled via simply waving ones hands in the air in front of it to turn volume up and down, and change tracks.

The one sticking point for some customers has been the legs for the floor mounted version, for some reason, B&O decided to offer only wooden legs as an option, oddly deciding that the clean elegant lines of the equipment work better with wood, fortunately the availability of a wall mounted bracket has ensured the A9 is still a best seller, however, an alternative floor option needed to be produced.

And now, it has been, as of August 2013, customers may now purchase Aluminium legs for the A9, this will be welcome news for those wishing to create a sleek modern image in their homes, and the best news is, the Aluminium legs option will come at no extra cost, it will be only £1699 for either wood or Aluminium legs.
