Bose's successful soundlink speaker range has now gone through its third iteration. We find ourselves somewhat surprised by this move from Bose, as they are always known for being similar to Bang & Olufsen in that they generally produce a product, and it will remain for some time before being upgraded of changed. Take for example the current QuietComfort 15 model headphones, they have not been changed in over a year and a half. This as opposed to the Soundlink speaker range, which has gone through three changes in less than that time.
The new model is here to stay though, for now at least, and features as improvement over the previous model, 14 hour battery life, 9m wireless range, aux and micro usb input, and a weight of only 1.37kg. It is slightly more compact than the Soundlink II also, at 13.15cm x 25.6cm x 4.8cm.
Priced at £260, it is available in one colour, grey black, and colourful covers, as those shown here, can be purchased for an extra £30 in a variety of options.
