Berluti Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 Collection.

Pictured here is Berluti's Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 menswear collection.  Berluti, which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of LVMH, have now for the past 3 years being producing ultra luxe menswear collections, with the hope of developing Berluti into the go-to brand for the wealthy in search of luxurious menswear.

If sales figures are anything to go by, they have not been overwhelmingly successful in this regard.  Units are moving, however, their core brand Louis Vuitton's menswear offerings have been far more profitable during the same period.  Still, new things take a while to get going.

The new collection eschews Berluti's initial "something of the night" feeling that was seen for the past few Autumn/Winter collections.  Instead we have a production which features 80's style big overcoats, and positively autumnal shades throughout the whole collection.  Only in the evening wear do we still see Berluti's penchant for dark, layered on dark, with some dark colours added for effect.  Overall another strong collection.
