Wacaco is a new venture presenting what is, in essence, a cut-down streamlined version of the Handpresso expresso maker. This features everything you are familiar with from that device, a scoop which also functions as a level, a pump action to pressurise the expresso out of the device into a cup, and lims it down to hand-held size, adding also an integrated cup on the lid.
As the video shows, this little device will allow travellers who have access to merely a kettle to experience the luxury of a cup of their favourite expresso wherever they are in the world. Not necessarily a new concept, but executed in typically advanced second generation style.
