The M10-P has continued Leica's storied journey as one of, if not the, finest camera manufacturer in the world today, and will no doubt result in many more of history greatest moments being captured on camera's with an M in the model number.
As an homage to the exceptionally high number of war reportage photojournalists that use Leica's in hot zones around the globe, Leica have released a kevlar coated, NATO green version called the M 10-P 'Reporter', model.
The premium is not so eye watering as for example the Hermes Leica's, this special edition comes in at just £500 over the standard model, for a total of £7100 for the body only.
We strongly suggest not testing this, but if effective, it might even accidentally save your life if it's in the exact right spot. Indeed, this has happened before with non kevlar coated cameras, an Italian photographer was in Syria and was saved from shrapnel hitting his face and killing him because the Leica was in front of his face at the time (link).
