Moncler Launches Pour Homme and Pour Femme with LED Display.

Here's an odd one, Moncler have launched their first branded perfume.  Nothing particularly odd in that it must be said, expect maybe it's odd they took so long in a world where every brand and their dog has multiple fragrance lines, alongside figuratively and literally kitchen sinks.   What is odd is that the 150ml bottle features a rechargeable, bluetooth programmable LED screen.   Quite why anyone would want a LED display on a perfume bottle is unclear to us.  It is of course an expansion of the the 'reflective' luggage, just recently launched after announcement in 2020.

Whatever the case, the scent itself was crafted by perfumers Nisrine Grillie, Quentin Bisch, Antoine Maisondieu and Chistophe Raynaud from Givaudan.  This has created what is apparently a 'veritable expedition for the senses', which attempts to express the mountain woods, comprising cedarwood, sage, sandalwood and musk.

The non LED versions are 60ml for £60, 100ml for £90, 150ml for £110.  The LED version is £160, if you really want to tell yourself a message on your perfume bottle.
