Off-White™ Launch "PAPERWORK" Beauty Line.

According to a press release from Off-White™, before their untimely passing Virgil Abloh was working on a beauty range.  The brands kind stewards have decided to complete Virgil's legacy and grace us with the collection, titled "PAPERWORK".

In reality, it's unlikely this statement is right, while Virgil was known for a prodigious output, and worked on a surprisingly diverse selection of items, from Louis Vuitton's product lines to simple Braun alarm clocks, it's probably not the case that Virgil spent significant time on this project at all.  What's more likely is the idea of a beauty range was suggested, either by Virgil, or someone at the brand with Virgil saying "ooh good idea let's do that".  What probably would have happened, as is the case with designers operating at the level Virgil did, the rank-and-file would have created a selection, and Virgil would have Ok'd some, rejected others, with that being their only input into the "design process".

In any case, the new venture will pump out a predictably bland selection of scents, face and body pigment crayons, and six nail colours.  The banality is striking with the scents being described as "citrusy", and "fresh, sporty sexy". And the nail polishes being produced in colours such as "translucent fuschia", and Opaque electric blue".  How thrilling.

They are at least relatively reasonably priced, with the perfumes coming in at £135.  So at least there's that.
