L.G. Release the promised Prada/L.G. 3.0 phone.

The Prada L.G. which we wrote about back in early november (article HERE) has been officially unveiled to the world at a glitzy ceremony in london just 5 days ago (14th December), and although our little reference to the iPhone is almost certain to have made absolutely no difference whatsoever, they did choose wisely to steer clear of the iphone 5's projected August release by some 9 months.  According to the press releases, as per usual in these cases, it is the best thing since sliced bread.

On a more serious note, Independent technology blogs representatives that were invited to the launch have critiqued the phone and all given glowing reports on both it's visual appeal and usability, The Verge stated for example that they were "pleasantly surprised by the UI smoothness on this third Prada Phone" and from Slash gear " The physical hardware has plenty of neat details, though, like the circular stereo speakers and illuminated power/lock button ring, which should at least set you apart when you whip the PRADA Phone out of your bag.”, So with this new phone it might just be possible there is more to the substance that merely style.

This phone does genuinely offer something a little different though, a 4.3" 800 nit NOVA high brightness display gives the unit the largest and brightest screen available on the market, along with a 1540mAh battery which should give a respectable life, a 1.0ghz dual core processor supplies the muscle to power the beast, camera wise it rocks a 8mp snapper, and 8mb of user memory.  What makes this outstanding is of course it's design, the user interface claims to be unique, but will most likely be hacked and cloned within hours of release, it's design is they key, and they have not disappointed in any sense on this score, a real saffiano leather back - Prada's signature anti scratch leather, encases a unit just 8.5mm thick and just 95 grams, and to top it all off, a full range of Prada branded accessories including bluetooth headset, steroheadphones, docking station and charging cradle, these are the seller's for this unit, and we are sure it will have some takers.
