Lanvin Arpege was created 84 years ago, and will be celebrating its 85th year in 2013, originally created by Andre Fraysse by request of Jeanne Lanvin to celebrate her daughter Marie-Blanche's 30th birthday, the perfume contains rose, jasmine, ylang ylang and vanilla, and is a perennial favourite year round, which is particularly suitable for the evening.
To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the fragrance Lanvin will be releasing in February 2013 a special edition of the perfume, the perfume itself will be in its normal bottle, but will come supplied with an exclusive limited edition minaudiere, made from black enamel, adorned with a braided snake-like handle plated with 18 carat gold.
The number of editions has not been specified, the cost will be £2300 per edition.
