All luxury labels now trot out impressive stars for their campaigns, Louis Vuitton featured amongst others Bono, Sean Connery, Michael Phelps and Madonna, to name but a few. But for sheer volume, Prada's Campaign's always manage to be something to look forward to, normally featuring multiple big name celebrities, and for Autumn/Winter 2012 they even went so far as to have those same Celebrities strutting down the catwalk, so their show had Gary Oldman, fresh from Batman, and Jamie Bell, with Willem Dafoe and Garret Hedlund all acting as clothes horses for the day.
For Spring/Summer 2013 they have again decided to go the Hollywood route, and have again chosen to use not one but four different high profile celebrities. Featuring Benecio Del Toro, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dane DeHaan and perhaps most impressive of all Harvey Keitel.
Shot by David Simms in Black & White rather than the agressive masculine colourings of the A/W 2012 campaign, the clothes manage not to be totally dominated by the famous faces wearing them, indeed, whereas the previous campaign was designed to say something about men of power and their clothing, this campaign is all about highlighting the clothing and its lines.
