New from Munitio for 2013 comes the "SV Mobile Performance Earphones", a little about the company; Munitio, the San Diego based audio technology company which launched in 2010 with its 9mm bullet style earphones made from titanium and plated with gold, then, they improved on the design in 2011 with more versions of the same, calling them "billets", and the name itself of the company "Munitio" being a play on "Munitions", their data states that the solid titanium casings of their headphones offer a superior listening experience to other in-ear headphones.
For 2013 they have decided to present an entirely new headphone range, moving totally away from the bullet aesthetic, and focusing rather on audio performance, the only similarity being they are in-ear phones. The earphones have a patented Sound Flow System, which delivers the smoothest mids and highs, while maintaining vocal clarity, the SV use 9mm dynamic drivers with rare earth neodymium magnets to deliver dynamic range. In addition to the technology on the audio side, and the awesome new design, the SV sport three button Mic controllers, for full handsfree functionality, all custom designed to work with iDevices of all types, giving answer and end call control, volume control, and voice dialling control, it even works with Android devices. Finally a right angle 24k Gold plated 3.5mm jack and tangle free wide ribbon cable finishes the package.
Available in three colours as seen here, and with the Munitio tactical ballistic carrying case, along with interchangeable silicone ear-pads for different ear sizes, the SV earphones will be available in February 2013 in the U.S. for £95 (at current exchange rate not including shipping and import taxes), and worldwide by mid April.
