The Lanvin Happy bag has become Lanvin's signature piece, and new versions are eagerly awaited, the revival of Frances oldest fashion house has been thanks to the young a dynamic designers at its helm creating these signature pieces, such as the iconic patent toe low tops, and the Happy bags.
For Spring/Summer 2013 and the mind of Alber Elbaz comes the Happy "Beaded" shoulder bag, with Lanvin's charming shoulder chain, with its silk grosgrain ribbon and Lanvin coin hanging louche and proud, this 8.5" x 11" x 3.5" bag is made from navy blue satin, and hand embellished with bold art deco style beading, Brass hardware, an leather trim in navy.
The bag is finished with a Jaquard silk lining, and will be available from Lavin boutiques in May for £2200.
