The bleeding edge cool marketing brand MSCHF has produced an amusing take on Chanel No.5's most iconic fragrance, by producing a fake "collab" of it mixed with Axe, the body spray synonymous with stale locker rooms worldwide.
The product cleverly picks fun at Chanel's high-minded intentions by bringing it down to earth, refilling the finely crafted glass flacon with Axe body spray, and painstakingly producing a logo which looks exactly what we would expect in the event that such a product were to ever really exist.
We think that in times where consumerism is getting out of hand, and brands such as Louis Vuitton are solely interested in profit, making products like luxury face masks for $1,000 when many healthcare workers are forced to work on the front line of a global pandemic without adequate protection, having the mickey taken out of us as luxury consumers is essential.
The product sold out in less than 10 minutes, so sign up for MSCHF's app if you don't want to miss out on releases like this in the future.
